Women in Horticulture Interview Series
Introducing the NEW Women in Horticulture Interview Series
AmericanHort is pleased to present an educational and inspirational interview series with accomplished women from the green industry. Hear their stories of accomplishment, challenges overcome as they’ve navigated their career that will provide you inspiration and encouragement.
Strategic Networking and Mentorship; Accessing and Building Power through Relationships
Garnering a position of leadership, that next important promotion, or achieving your entrepreneurial goals, require hard work and credentials. But what most women are not taught is that who you know is often as - or more - important than what you know. We keep our noses to the grindstone assuming our accumulation of skills, achievements, and talent will get us where we want to go. Who you know, your access to people with power, and how you leverage your professional network and mentors matter more than you realize. In this main stage program, we will hear from our panelist on how they have built a strategic and powerful network to help advance and achieve professional goals. Join us to evaluate your existing network and develop strategies for improving it, as well cover perspectives from both the mentor and mentee standpoint with strategies for cultivating successful relationships.
Here are the upcoming interviews:
August - Valérie & Mélissa Berger,
Co-CEO’s and current third generation of the Berger family and company
