Judith Guido is the Chairperson and founder of Guido & Associates, a company focused on growing companies’ people, profits, and valuation. Judith helps companies build, execute, and measure a predictable roadmap for sustainable growth and profits while advising, facilitating, and building strong teams. She has participated in more than one hundred consolidations, mergers and acquisitions. She collaborates with companies on strategy, execution, workforce development, sales and marketing, leadership development, funding, training, mergers/acquisitions, product launches, and new business start-ups. She has done extensive work in the green, construction, erosion control, technology, real estate, and private equity industries.
Judith’s expansive career includes leading several larger industry re-branding initiatives, including Valley Crest [now BrightView], Aquascape, PLANET [now NALP], and SIMA [Snow and Ice Management.] She was one of four executives who took LandCare USA public on the New York Stock Exchange in June of 1998. She was the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of sales and strategy at LandCare USA, the national commercial landscape and tree-care services company acquired by ServiceMaster and subsequently integrated into their TruGreen-LandCare landscape group.
She was instrumental in founding and building Yellowstone, the fourth largest landscape company in the country, and served as its Chief Marketing Officer, and then served as a board member and strategic advisor. Judith has trained thousands of landscapes, irrigation, erosion-control, growers, distributors, construction, association, real-estate, and snow professionals over her career.
Judith has done extensive work with growing women leaders and attracting, retaining, and rewarding women in the industry. She helps associations and contractors scale their organizations and advocates for women business leaders. She is a business columnist, sought-after keynote speaker, coach, facilitator, and strategic growth executive. Judith has been recognized as one of the highest-ranking women in the green industry. She was inducted into the GREEN Industry Hall of Fame in 2017 and awarded the prestigious Lawn & Landscape Leadership award in 2020.
