Why Support AmericanHort PlantPAC?

AmericanHort Political Action Committee (PlantPAC) enables leaders in horticulture to help elect and re-elect Congressional candidates who support policies that enable businesses like yours to perform, grow, and prepare for the future. With your support, a successful PlantPAC gives our industry a strong voice and is a key part of the success of the AmericanHort advocacy program.

Critical First Step – Prior Approval

Political action committees (PACs) sponsored by corporate-based trade associations, like AmericanHort PlantPAC, are required by federal law to obtain a corporate member company’s approval before asking eligible individuals to join or informing them about PAC-related activities

Strength in Numbers

When like-minded people demonstrate their full engagement in the political process, legislators are more apt to listen. And, by contributing to PlantPAC, you remind candidates that our industry touches every community in the nation. The simple fact is that it takes significant resources to successfully run for federal office.  PlantPAC helps to ensure that candidates who support our industry’s small and family farms and businesses can succeed.  AmericanHort PlantPAC is funded solely by individual and personal contributions to support candidates in compliance with federal law.

“We need to pull out all the stops in this election cycle and demonstrate to our industry champions that we have their backs. I urge AmericanHort members to step up so we can make a difference.”
